Elià was founded in 2014 by Elizabeth Dunn, inspired by a conversation with longtime friends Tia and Yiannis Markou, owners of Markou Samos in Greece. They were exploring the idea of bringing their exceptional olive oil to the U.S., and after many conversations, Beth agreed to take the lead. The decision came naturally—built on years of friendship and a shared appreciation for the quality and versatility of the oil.

Elià isn’t just about distributing olive oil—it’s about sharing something special. The oil is rich, flavorful, and easy to use in everyday cooking. The olives have become a favorite among friends and family—even those who usually steer clear of olives love them.
